Short introduction
- What are you proud of?
- That it always happens with the best of intentions. In the media since 30 years, as a husband since 25 years, and as a father since 19 and 22 years.
- In your free time, what do you like to do most?
- Let my mind wander. This can be done by going for a walk, cooking, reading a magazine or a book, going to a ballet performance, ... And on Sunday evenings, watch the NFL (American football) on television.
- Did you know that I…
- with a small partnership team, we are fully engaged in partner discussions on how brands can collaborate with our Mijn Magazines / Mes Magazines app. All our content from all our brands/communities in one place. Gives a lot of inspiration and energy.
- Where would you go in a time machine and with whom/why?
- In our field Armand Morgensztern. The man who put the beta score for memorisation of advertising campaigns in the various media on the map. That remains a timeless classic. I wonder if it's also great to have a coffee or a Zero with him...
Mark's Recommendations
- What is your favourite movie?
- Lost in Translation. Aren't we all
- What book would you recommend?
- Once, in my twenties, I decided after reading Donna Tartt's The Secret History that no better book would be written. It's probably best I don't reread it.
- Can you recommend a good restaurant?
- In my hometown Ghent I love Martino. The inventors of the sandwich, but now simply a restaurant with very tasty classics like steak
- Do you have another cool tip for us?
- Try to answer 'yes' to as many things as possible.
Last but not least
- What is your favourite quote?
- I love it when a plan comes together - Hannibal Smith - The A-Team
- Who would you like to see in this section?
- Koenraad Deridder, the top man of the CIM's Joint Industry Committee on media research. The guide who will lead our media research into a bright local future.
